Don't Believe the Government Grant Hype
We have all seen them: the late night infomercials, Web sites and reference guides advertising millions in free government grant money. But don’t believe the hype! Government grant money is not available for personal debt relief.
Government grants, as outlined by Grants.gov, are designed for five primary purposes:
- Student Loans and Grants
- Small Business Start-up Loans and Grants
- Social Security or Supplemental Security Income and Medicaid
- Educational or Research Institutions
- Public Housing or other Community Projects
Although there are no government grant debt relief programs for individuals, have no fear: There is still plenty that you can do to get out from under debt!
If you are struggling to pay your bills, but your financial situation is not severe, then your best option is to take action now:
- find ways to cut costs
- create a budget to help manage your money
- look for opportunities to increase your income
If your financial situation has become unmanageable, and you can no longer pay your bills or have even missed paying some bills, debt settlement can provide you with a real strategy for immediate financial relief and complete debt elimination.
Take control of your financial situation today, visit Debt Freedom Tips to find out how.
